It is interesting, short, fast-paced, and cute.
This book is fantastic for parents too as it is not boring or dull to read. As a mother of a young boy, I can assure you that watching a dinosaur do those things has way more pull than you telling them to do those things :) It shows a dinosaur compliantly getting under the covers, giving his parents a kiss, and turning out the light. This book is fantastic for young kids as it gives them a unique glimpse into how ridiculous they look when they pout and complain and whine and cry upon going to bed. Written by Jane Yolen, this book captured my sons attention the moment he saw the giant dinosaur on the front. How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight is a charming children's story with bright colors, interesting pictures, and quaint rhymes to keep even the youngest of children interested. "How does a dinosaur say goodnight? When papa comes in to turn out the light?"
